Your mission

As Solution Architect you will drive the technical transformation of JobRad Leasing GmbH – from building a service-oriented, regulation-compliant platform to introducing scalable cloud architectures. You will analyse legacy systems, define target architectures and make "build-or-buy" decisions to achieve digital sovereignty and efficiency in our leasing business.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse IT landscape: Evaluate architecture, integration capability and technical debt of existing applications and interfaces
• Design target architecture: Conceive modular, service-based solutions with clear domains, API gateways & event-driven design
• Drive technology choices: Select appropriate cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), integration components and security standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Guarantee adherence to BSI, BaFin and other financial regulations
• Coach teams: Support developers in implementing architectural principles and best practices
• Advance digital independence: Evaluate external services, negotiate interfaces and reduce vendor lock-in

What you bring

• 7+ years as enterprise / software architect in complex, service-oriented environments
• Deep expertise in cloud native, microservices, API management, event streaming and DevOps toolchains
• Solid experience with security & compliance frameworks in regulated industries (e.g., BSI, ISO 2700x)
• Strong communication skills: ability to translate technical strategy for management, business units and developers
• Hands-on mentality: you document architectural decisions (ADRs), accompany proofs-of-concept and review code
• German C1, English B2

Nice-to-have

• Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, CISSP
• Experience with BPMN, domain-driven design and agile frameworks
• Knowledge of finance & leasing processes
